Jay Krush , a founding member of the CBC, in 1977, is Lecturer in Tuba and Euphonium at Temple University and is tubist with the Pennsylvania Ballet Orchestra. An active composer with more than 60 completed works, he has received grants and awards from organizations such as the National Endowment for the Arts and the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. His music has been performed by the CBC, Network for New Music, and orchestras in states including Alaska, North Dakota and Pennsylvania. Mr. Krush, who studied with Cherry Beauregard and Arnold Jacobs, is a graduate of Northwestern University (MM) and the Eastman School of Music (BM/composition).
